MOF Invites Views and Suggestions for Budget 2021

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) invites Singaporeans to share their views and hopes for the upcoming Budget 2021, which is scheduled to be presented in February 2021.  Individuals, households, and businesses can do so from today until 8 January 2021.

2.         Information on Singapore’s national Budget process and Budget 2020 measures can be found on MOF’s Budget website at www.singaporebudget.gov.sg.

3.         Singaporeans can provide their suggestions for the coming Budget through several channels over a six-week period, on themes such as the economy, workforce, society and community, a safe and smart nation, as well as environmental sustainability. The topics can be found in Annex A.

4.         REACH will have virtual and physical Listening Points set up at various high traffic nodes, while PA and its grassroots organisations will also reach out to Singaporeans via virtual Ask Kopi Kakis #shareyourviews engagement platforms to seek their views and suggestions for Budget 2021 in a convenient and safe manner. 5.         REACH will hold a Pre-Budget Conversation on Wednesday, 2 December 2020 as part of the ongoing SG Together’s Emerging Stronger Conversations. The session will be chaired by Ms. Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development. She will be joined by the Chairman of REACH, Mr. Tan Kiat How, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of National Development.
