Minister Indranee Rajah to Attend G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting, and The 2022 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and The International Monetary Fund at Washington D.C., USA
10 Oct 20221 Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah will be in Washington D.C. from 11 to 14 October 2022. Minister Indranee will attend the fourth G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (FMCBG) under the 2022 G20 Indonesian Presidency, the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, and the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action (“Coalition”) meeting.
2 The FMCBG will discuss issues such as the state of the global economy, and the development of sustainable finance, including policies to transition towards a greener and low-carbon future. The Coalition meeting will discuss economic and financial aspects of the green transition, including sharing ideas for effective policy approaches as well as experiences with overcoming transition-related challenges.
3 Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Infrastructure Asia.
