Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat to visit the Netherlands and to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina
13 Jul 20181. Minister for Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat will be in the Netherlands to meet with
government officials, companies, and scientists on research, innovation, and enterprise
matters from 15 to 19 July 2018, before heading to Buenos Aires, Argentina to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting from 21 to 22 July 2018.
2. This is the third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting under
Argentina’s G20 Presidency. The meeting will discuss recent global economic
developments, as well as policy actions to advance infrastructure financing and embrace the opportunities brought about by technological change.
3. Minister Heng, who is also the Chairman of the National Research Foundation
(NRF), will be accompanied by officials from the NRF in the Netherlands, and by officials
from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore in Argentina.
