Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong to Attend the 11th ASEAN Finance Ministers' and Central Bank Governors' Meeting in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR
04 Apr 2024 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong, will visit Luang Prabang, Lao PDR from 4 to 5 April 2024 to attend the 11th ASEAN Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM) and other related meetings.
2 The AFMGM will discuss the state of the global and regional economies; as well as ways to enhance ASEAN monetary and financial cooperation and integration, towards the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2025 and beyond.
3 Deputy Prime Minister Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore.
