Singapore Budget to be Delivered at 3.30pm on 15 February

The Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will deliver the FY2008 Budget Statement in Parliament on Friday, 15 February 2008 at 3.30pm.

2. The Budget Speech will be broadcast "live" over Channel NewsAsia, with Chinese translation on dual sound mode, and over radio by 938Live. There will also be a "live" webcast at the Singapore Budget website at www.singaporebudget.gov.sg. The Budget Statement will also be uploaded progressively on the Singapore Budget website as the speech is being delivered.

3. In the meantime, members of the public can visit the Singapore Budget website to place an online request for the Budget Statement to be emailed to them. They will receive the Statement after the Minister for Finance has delivered it in Parliament. This free subscription service will be available until 2pm on 15 Feb.

4. The Ministry of Finance welcomes views from the Public on initiatives announced in the Budget Speech. Members of the public are invited to share their views with us via the following post-Budget feedback channels will be available from 15 February 2008, from 6pm :
