Official visit of H.E. Kemal Unakitan, Minister of Finance, Turkey, to Singapore, 29 - 31 May 2007
30 May 2007The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Kemal Unakitan, arrived in Singapore last night for an official visit from 29 - 31 May 2007, at the invitation of the Minister for Education and Second Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam. H.E. Kemal Unakitan is accompanied by his wife, Ms Aysen Unakitan, and officials.
2. H.E. Unakitan and his delegation today made courtesy calls on the Senior Minister, Mr Goh Chok Tok, Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed. Minister Shanmugaratnam hosted the delegation, together with representatives from the Singapore business community, to lunch this afternoon.
3. The delegation also met with senior officials of Temasek Holdings, and toured PSA Terminals.
