Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam To Attend The 17th ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting (AFMM), 3-4 April, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam
02 Apr 20131. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam from 3 to 4 April 2013 to attend the 17th ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting.
2. The annual meeting will discuss financial and monetary initiatives in ASEAN and cooperation in building the ASEAN Economic Community.
3. While in Brunei, DPM Tharman will also sign the Singapore-Cambodia Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Financial Cooperation, with Cambodia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, Keat Chhon.
4. DPM Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
