$60 Million Rebates To Help With Utilities Charges

700,000 HDB households will receive between $60 and $200 of Utilities-Save (U-Save) rebates to help them with their utilities charges. Lower-income households staying in smaller flat-types will get more help and receive higher rebates. The rebates will cost the Government $60 million.

2. The U-Save Rebates will be given out in July 2006 and January 2007 (see table below). Households can roll over unused rebates to subsequent months.
