Many members of the public failed to get into the Budget 2002 Website (www.budget2002.gov.sg) during the delivery of the Budget Statement by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Lee Hsien Loong. There was a technical hitch which is currently being fixed. The Ministry of Finance apologises for the breakdown.

3 The Ministry of Finance had prepared a bank of nine servers to allow wide simultaneous access. However, a URL addressing error at the servers resulted in users not being able to access the correct webpage.
