$30 Million Worth Of Utility Rebates For HDB Households
30 Dec 2005In January 2006, the Government will give out $30 million worth of utility rebates to HDB households to help Singaporeans offset their utility bills.
2. Each HDB household will receive between $30 and $100 in utility rebates, depending on the HDB flat type, as shown in the Table below. Higher rebates are given to lower income households to provide them more support. Households with unused rebates can roll-over the rebates to the subsequent months.

3. This is the second instalment of the utility rebates announced by the Prime Minister in his Budget Statement in February 2005. The first instalment was given out in July 2005. The utility rebates will cost the Government about $62 million in total.
