2nd Minister For Finance Leaves For Yangon, Myanmar For The 6th ASEAN Finance Ministers' Meeting On 4 April 02
04 Apr 2002Mr Lim Hng Kiang, 2nd Minister for Finance, leaves for Yangon, Myanmar, on 4 April 2002 to attend the 6th ASEAN Finance Ministers' Meeting. The Meeting will be held from 5 Apr 2002 to 6 Apr 2002.
The Meeting will address the latest economic and financial developments in the region in light of the global slowdown in 2001. It will also review the progress of various regional financial cooperation initiatives.
2nd Minister Lim Hng Kiang will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
