Parliamentary Question by Mr Leong Mun Wai:
To ask the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance what is the current amount of budget spent on outsourced IT and non-IT activities for the whole of Government.
Parliamentary Reply by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong:
A procurement contract will be classified as Information Communications Technology (ICT) contract if the majority of the contract value is for this purpose. On that basis, over the last three years, the Singapore Government awarded an average of about $2 billion and $24 billion per year for ICT and non-ICT contracts respectively.
