Senior Minister Of State For Law And Finance, Ms Indranee Rajah, To Attend The Joint IMF-Indonesia High-Level Conference In Jakarta, Indonesia, on 12 July 2017

1        Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance, Ms Indranee Rajah will be in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 12 July 2017 to participate in the high-level conference jointly held by the International Monetary Fund and the Ministry of Finance, Indonesia.

2        The theme of the conference is “International Taxation in Asia: Issues and the Way Forward”. Participants are expected to include high-level policymakers from the region, senior staff from international and regional organisations, senior staff from Ministries of Finance and Tax Administrations, and members of academia and civil society.

3        SMS Indranee will participate in Session I of the conference, which focuses on the global economic landscape, the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and key issues in international taxation among regional economies.

4        SMS Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
