Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance, Indranee Rajah to visit the United States from 17 to 21 April 2018

1. Senior Minister of State for Law and Finance, Indranee Rajah will be in Washington D.C. from 19 to 21 April 2018 to attend the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, and the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting.
2. This is the second G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting under the Argentine Presidency. The meeting will discuss the growth prospects of the global economy, and policy actions to harness the opportunities of technological advancement to foster more inclusive growth.
3. As part of her trip, SMS Indranee will visit New York to meet infrastructure fund companies to discuss potential collaborations with Infrastructure Asia.
4. SMS Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance, Enterprise Singapore, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
