Second Minister for Finance to attend The 6th Asia-Europe Finance Ministers' Meeting, 25-27 June 2005, Tianjin, China

Mr Raymond Lim, Second Minister for Finance and Foreign Affairs, will attend the 6th Asia-Europe Finance Ministers' Meeting hosted by the Chinese Minister for Finance, Mr Jin Renqing, in Tianjin, China. The Meeting will be held from 25 June 2005 to 27 June 2005.

At the Meeting, the Finance Ministers and the Heads of International Financial Institutions will discuss the latest global issues concerning both Europe and Asia as well as advance initiatives promoting closer financial and economic cooperation between both regions.

Minister Raymond Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
