Second Minister for Finance to Attend APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting from 4-5 Sep 2003

Mr Lim Hng Kiang, 2nd Minister for Finance, leaves today for Phuket to attend the APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting. The Meeting will be held from 4-5 September 2003.

The Meeting will discuss the latest economic and financial developments within APEC as well as the progress of APEC Finance cooperation.

Minister Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
