Second Minister for Finance attending IMF/World Bank Meetings

Mr Lim Hng Kiang, 2nd Minister for Finance, will be in Washington DC and New York, USA, from 20-28 Apr 2004. He will there to attend several IMF/ World Bank meetings and will be meeting senior officials from various banks and financial institutions.

In Washington, Mr Lim will also participate in an International Ministerial Session on Terrorist Finance that will be attended by Finance Ministers from the G-7 countries and 15 non G-7 countries.

2nd Minister Lim Hng Kiang will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
