Second Minister attending ASEAN Finance Ministers' Meetings

Mr Lim Hng Kiang, 2nd Minister for Finance, leaves today for Manila to attend the ASEAN and ASEAN + 3 Finance Ministers' Meetings. The meetings will be held from 6-7 August 2003.

The meetings will discuss the latest economic and financial developments within ASEAN and ASEAN + 3 as well as the progress of ASEAN and ASEAN + 3 Finance Cooperation.

Minister Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
