Second Minister attending APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting

Mr Lim Hng Kiang, 2nd Minister for Finance, will attend the 9th APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting from 5 Sept 2002 to 6 Sept 2002 in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The Meeting will address the latest global and regional macroeconomic and financial developments as well as various policy initiatives under the APEC Finance Ministers' Process. A Joint Ministerial Statement will be issued at the end of the meeting.

2ND Minister Lim Hng Kiang will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
