Second Minister attending 5th ASEM Finance Ministers' Meeting

Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Health and 2nd Minister for Finance, leaves on 4 July 2003 for Bali, Indonesia, to attend the 5th ASEM Finance Ministers' meeting. The Meeting will be held from 5-6 July 2003.

The Meeting will discuss the latest economic and financial developments in Asia and Europe, as well as take note of the progress of ASEM Finance initiatives.

Minister Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
