Publishing Updated 2015 Occasional Paper on Income Growth, Inequality and Mobility Trends in Singapore

Parliamentary Question by Mr Shawn Loh:

To ask the Prime Minister and Minister for Finance (a) whether the Ministry will consider updating its 2015 Occasional Paper on Income Growth, Inequality, and Mobility Trends in Singapore; and (b) whether the updated paper can also provide insights on the state of wealth inequality in Singapore and its trends.

The Government has plans to update the Occasional Paper. We are working on improving our data collection on wealth and will share the findings when it is ready.
