Parliamentary Question by Assoc Prof Jamus Jerome Lim:

To ask the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance whether there are plans to define a post-Merdeka generation who are born in the 1960s and are approaching retirement age so that they may receive additional public benefits especially in healthcare.

Parliamentary Reply by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong:

MOF responded to a similar parliamentary question from Member of Parliament Dr Lim Wee Kiak on 20 March 2023. Our position has not changed from this previous reply.
