NIIGATA, JAPAN
11 MAY TO 13 MAY 2023 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will be in Niigata, Japan to attend the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting on 12 May 2023. Singapore is among the six non-G7 countries invited to the meeting .

2. The G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting will discuss ways to strengthen economic and financial cooperation between emerging markets and developed economies.
3. DPM Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
