          Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will visit Malaysia from 4 to 7 September 2022. This will be Mr Wong’s first Official Visit to Malaysia in his capacity as Deputy Prime Minister.

Deputy Prime Minister Wong will have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia His Majesty Sultan Abdullah ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah. He will also meet Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Senior Minister and Minister of Defence Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, Minister of Finance Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz, Governor of the Central Bank of Malaysia Tan Sri Datuk Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus, as well as other politicians and business personalities.

Deputy Prime Minister Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Communications and Information.
