Mrs Lim Hwee Hua to attend the Special ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers' Meeting on 22 Feb 2009 in Thailand

Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, Senior Minister of State for Finance and Transport, will be attending the Special ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers' Meeting on 22 Feb 2009 in Phuket.
The Finance Ministers from ASEAN, China, Japan and Korea will meet to discuss global and regional economic developments. They will discuss enhancements to the multilateralisation of the Chiang Mai Initiative (CMI) and identify other actions that can be taken to restore economic and financial stability to the region.
Mrs Lim will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
