        Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah, will be in Tbilisi, Georgia, from 2 to 5 May 2024 to attend the 27th ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM+3) and the 57th Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting. 

2    The AFMGM+3 will discuss key regional macroeconomic developments and outlook, as well as ways to further strengthen regional financial cooperation through initiatives such as the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation, ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), Asian Bond Markets Initiative (ABMI), Disaster Risk Financing (DRF) and ASEAN+3 Future Initiatives. The ADB Annual Meeting will discuss development issues in Asia and ways to deepen cooperation across the 68 member economies to deliver solutions for the region’s development needs. Minister Indranee will also meet her Finance counterparts and ADB senior management.

3    Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore.
