1. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and Education, Indranee Rajah, will be in Luxembourg, from 12 to 13 July 2019 to attend the 4th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

2. Focusing on the theme of ‘Cooperation and Connectivity’, the AIIB Annual Meeting will review opportunities for mobilising private capital for infrastructure development, identify ways to match innovative financing to critical infrastructure needs, and advancesustainable infrastructure investments to contribute to stronger economic growth and deeper regional integration.

3. As part of the visit, Minister Indranee will be speaking at the AIIB Legal Seminar on “Cross-boundary Connectivity and the Challenges of Dispute Resolution”.

4. Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
