Minister Indranee Rajah to Attend G20 Finance Ministers & Central Bank Governors Meeting and the 2024 World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings in Washington D.C., USA

        Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah, will be in Washington D.C. from 17 to 21 April 2024. Minister Indranee will attend the second G20 Finance Ministers & Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting under the 2024 G20 Brazilian Presidency and the World Bank-IMF Spring Meetings.

2.     The FMCBG will discuss issues such as the state of the global economy, the reform of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), and financing for sustainable development. Minister Indranee will also chair the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Ministerial Meeting that will be held on Thursday, 18 April 2024 (GMT-4). 

3.     Minister Indranee will take the opportunity to meet her counterparts as well as senior leaders of the World Bank on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings. Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
