     Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah will be in Washington D.C. from 12 to 13 April 2023. Minister Indranee will attend the second G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting under the 2023 G20 Indian Presidency and the Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.

2.   The FMCBG will discuss issues such as the state of the global economy, and the development of sustainable finance, including policies to transition towards a greener and low-carbon future, implementation of the Two-Pillar Solution proposed by the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting and reform of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). Minister Indranee will also meet her counterparts as well as senior World Bank officials on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings. 

3.   Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
