Minister Indranee Rajah to attend 4th G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting and World Bank Group-IMF Annual Meetings in Marrakech, Morocco from 10 to 14 Oct 2023

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, Ms Indranee Rajah will be in Marrakech, Morocco from 10 to 14 October 2023. Minister Indranee will attend the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the 4th G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting under the 2023 G20 Indian Presidency and the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action (“Coalition”) meeting, among other engagements.
 
2 The G20 FMCBG meeting will discuss issues such as the global economic outlook and strengthening Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) to address the challenges of the 21st century. Minister Indranee will also meet her counterparts as well as senior World Bank Group officials on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings. The Coalition meeting will discuss and exchange views on greening the financial sector through effective instruments and strategies. 

3 Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
