1. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Education, Ms Indranee Rajah will be in Fiji from 1 to 4 May 2019 to attend the 22nd ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM+3), and the 52nd Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting.
 
2. The AFMGM+3 will discuss key regional economic developments and outlook, and the progress of key initiatives including the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office, Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation, and Asian Bond Markets Initiative. The meeting will explore ways to further advance regional financial cooperation among ASEAN+3 member countries. A joint statement from the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors will be issued at the end of the meeting. Minister Indranee will also take the opportunity to meet with her counterparts and senior management at the ADB.
 
3. Minister Indranee will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
