1.         Minister for National Development and Second Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong, will be in Fukuoka, Japan to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, which takes place from 8 to 9 June 2019.

2.         This is the second G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting under Japan’s G20 Presidency. The meeting will discuss global economic developments, development finance issues, as well as policy actions to address the implications of changing national demographics.

3.         Minister Wong will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
