1. Singapore’s Minister for Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat will be attending the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Shanghai from 26 – 27 February.

2. This is the first Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting under China’s G20 Presidency. The meeting will review recent developments in the global economy and discuss policy actions required to promote economic stability and boost medium to long-term growth.

3. Minister Heng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
