Minister for Finance to Attend the G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, 4-5 Sep 2009, London

Singapore's Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be in London to participate in the G-20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting from 4-5 Sep 2009. Singapore was invited to participate in its role as the 2009 APEC Chair.
The G-20 Finance Ministers will take the opportunity to review the progress of commitments made at the previous G-20 Summits in Washington and London, and recommend further actions required to build a sustainable recovery and future sources of growth.
Minister Tharman will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
