Minister for Finance Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be in Nha Trang, Vietnam, to participate in the ASEAN Finance Ministers' Meeting from 7-8 April 2010.

2 The Finance Ministers will discuss ways to reinforce regional finance cooperation, as well as the risks and policy challenges facing the region in the post-economic crisis period. The Finance Ministers will also discuss the progress in implementing the Roadmap for Financial and Monetary Integration of ASEAN.

3 Minister Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
