Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, to attend G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting

1. Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be in Gyeongju, Korea from 22 to 23 October 2010 to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' Meeting.
2. The meeting will discuss key economic and financial issues facing the global economy, and reforms to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), among other issues.
3. Minister Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
