1          Minister for Finance, Heng Swee Keat will be in Washington D.C. from 11-13 October 2017 to attend the final G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting under the German G20 Presidency, and the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund.

2          The FMCBG meeting will discuss the global economic outlook and policy measures to strengthen economic resilience and promote strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth. The meeting will also touch on the international financial architecture, international taxation, and financial sector development.

3          Minister Heng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
