1. Minister for Finance, Heng Swee Keat, will be attending the 2nd Annual Meeting of the AIIB Board of Governors in Jeju, Republic of Korea.


2. Focusing on the theme of ‘Sustainable Infrastructure’, the AIIB Annual Meeting will review opportunities for sustainable infrastructure investments and identify ways to mobilise private capital for infrastructure development in the region.


3. Minister Heng, as Singapore’s Governor on the Board of Governors of the AIIB, will provide a statement for the AIIB Annual Meeting, as well as attend the Board of Governors’ Business Session which will discuss the AIIB’s 2016 Annual Report and 2017 Budget.


4. Minister Heng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
