1.     Minister for Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat, will be in Chiang Rai, Thailand, from 4 to 5 April 2019 to attend the 23rd ASEAN Finance Ministers’ Meeting (AFMM) and the 5th ASEAN Finance Ministers’ and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting (AFMGM).

2.     The AFMM and AFMGM will discuss the progress on the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Blueprint 2025 and ASEAN financial cooperation, including key initiatives for regional financial integration.

3.    Minister Heng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
