Minister For Education And Second Minister For Finance To Attend The Eleventh ASEAN Finance Ministers' Meeting, 4-5 April 2007, Thailand

Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Education and Second Minister for Finance, leaves tomorrow for Thailand to attend the Eleventh ASEAN Finance Ministers' Meeting, to be held from 4-5 April 2007.
2. The ASEAN Finance Ministers will discuss Regional Economic Development and Outlook, the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint, the ASEAN Charter, Progress on ASEAN and ASEAN + 3 Finance Cooperation as well as the Roadmap for the Monetary and Financial Integration of ASEAN.
3. Mr Shanmugaratnam will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
