Making Services and Information on Government Disbursement Schemes Website Accessible to Illiterate or Digitally-Challenged Persons

To ask the Prime Minister and Minister for Finance how can the services and information on the Government Disbursement Schemes website, www.govbenefits.gov.sg, be also made accessible to residents who are illiterate or not digitally able.

The www.govbenefits.gov.sg website allows citizens to conveniently login with their Singpass to check their eligibility and update their payment instructions for Government benefits such as the GST Voucher, Majulah Package, Silver Support and Workfare Income Supplement schemes. Citizens will also be notified through SMS or hardcopy notifications after their benefits have been disbursed.
