To ask the Minister for Finance what was the highest income tax rate for each year from 1991 to 2013.

Parliamentary Reply by Minister for Finance, Mr Lawrence Wong:

Mr Leong had asked a similar question on 6 July 2021. MOF had furnished the information and it remains valid.

The information on the highest marginal personal income tax rate for tax-resident individuals and corporate income tax rate from 1991 to 2013 is reproduced in Table 1 and Table 2 respectively.
