DPM Lawrence Wong to visit Germany and France (8 - 13 April 2024)

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong will make Official Visits to Berlin, Germany from 8 to 10 April 2024 and Paris, France from 10 to 13 April 2024. The visits will build upon Singapore’s warm, longstanding and multi-faceted ties with both countries.
In Berlin, Deputy Prime Minister Wong will call on Federal President Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He will also meet Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Dr Robert Habeck, and Federal Minister of Finance Christian Lindner. Deputy Prime Minister Wong will meet German industry leaders, and attend a reception with overseas Singaporeans in Germany.
In Paris, Deputy Prime Minister Wong will call on President Emmanuel Macron. He will also meet Minister of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty Bruno Le Maire. He will attend the opening of Temasek’s office in Paris, meet French industry leaders, and attend a reception with overseas Singaporeans in France.
Deputy Prime Minister Wong will be accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan in France. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance will accompany Deputy Prime Minister Wong for both visits.
