1. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be in Switzerland and Sweden from 6 to 12 May 2015, leading a SkillsFuture delegation.
2. The SkillsFuture delegation will be engaging various government bodies, education and training providers, and companies from several industries. It aims to better understand approaches in the two countries for assuring high-quality education and training, and the commitment of employers to investing in workers’ career-long development.
3. DPM Tharman will also be speaking at the 45th St. Gallen Symposium in St. Gallen, Switzerland, on 7 May, and will meet business leaders in Switzerland during his trip.
