Deputy Prime Minister & Minister For Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam To Attend The 16th Asean Finance Ministers Meeting (AFMM)

1. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 29 – 30 March 2012 to attend the 16th ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting.
2. The annual meeting will discuss issues concerning the progress and expansion of the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization (CMIM) and various initiatives in financial market integration.
3. DPM Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore.
