Deputy Prime Minister & Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat To Visit Tokyo, Japan (29-31 May)

During his visit, DPM will meet Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other senior Japanese politicians and key business leaders.  

Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat will visit Tokyo, Japan from 29 May to 31 May 2019 to attend the 25th International Conference on the Future of Asia, “Seeking a New Global Order – Overcoming the Chaos”, organised by Nikkei Inc. DPM will deliver a speech and participate in a dialogue at the Conference. 

2. During his visit, DPM will meet Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Taro Aso, as well as Foreign Minister Taro Kono. DPM will also meet other Conference attendees and key business leaders. 

3. DPM will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
