1.      Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be in New Delhi, India on 3 May to attend the 16th ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting. The Finance Ministers from ASEAN, China, Japan and Korea will discuss the global and regional macroeconomic outlook, and ways to strengthen ASEAN+3 financial cooperation.

2.      DPM Tharman will also attend the 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and meet with Takehiko Nakao, the newly appointed President of the ADB.

3.      DPM Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
