Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam To Attend a G20 Finance Ministers Meeting in Istanbul, Turkey

1 Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be attending a meeting for G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in Istanbul on 9-10 February.
2 This will be the first time the Finance Ministers are meeting under the Turkish Presidency. The meeting will discuss policy actions to secure economic stability and better growth in both advanced and emerging countries, and reforms in international finance.
3 DPM Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
