Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam to attend 20th APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting

         Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, will be attending the APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting in Bali, Indonesia from 19 to 20 September.

2.      The meeting will discuss the implications of the global macroeconomic outlook and policy settings for the APEC economies, and issues relating to trade finance, infrastructure and financial inclusion. During the meeting, DPM Tharman will also sign the Statement of Intent on the Asia Region Funds Passport (ARFP), which facilitates the cross-border offering of funds and collective investment schemes in participating economies.
 
3.      DPM Tharman will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance.
