On Monday, 6 April, DPM & Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat announced the one-off Solidarity Payment to help Singaporeans and their families during the period of heightened measures due to COVID-19.
The Government’s efforts to support households, with direct cash in hand during the
COVID-19 outbreak, includes providing all adult Singaporeans each with a $600 Solidarity Payment. About 90% of these recipients have previously provided their bank account details

for Government payouts, and will receive the payment directly in their bank accounts on Tuesday, 14 April 2020. They include Singaporeans who previously received cash payouts such as the SG Bonus in 2018, or GST Voucher – Cash (Bicentennial Payment) in 2019, if eligible.
2 As Government agencies do not have the bank account details of the remaining 10% of adult Singaporeans, we request them to provide their bank account details via this secure Gov.sg form - https://go.gov.sg/spsc no later than 23 April 2020. SingPass access is required. These Singaporeans will then receive the Solidarity Payment directly in their bank accounts on 28 April 2020. By providing their bank account details, they can receive their payment more quickly and safely, without the need to leave their homes during this period.
3 Adult Singaporeans who have not provided bank account details by 23 April 2020 will receive the Solidarity Payment through cheques sent to their NRIC-registered addresses in stages from 30 April 2020 onwards.
Non-Citizens with Immediate Family Members who are Singaporeans
4 To support Singaporean families with members who are Singapore Permanent Residents (SPRs) and/or Long-Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+) holders living in Singapore, the Government will also provide a one-off Solidarity Payment of $300 to:
a) SPRs aged 21 and above in 2020 who have Singaporean parent(s), spouse or
child(ren); and
b) LTVP+ holders aged 21 and above in 2020.
5 Eligible SPRs may sign up for the one-off Solidarity Payment at https://go.gov.sg/sppr using their SingPass from now until 10 May 2020. Those who provide their bank account details while signing up can expect to receive the Solidarity Payment directly in their bank account on 19 May 2020. Those who do not provide their bank account details when signing up will receive cheques in stages from end-May 2020 onwards.
6 LTVP+ holders will receive their Solidarity Payment via cheques in stages from end-May 2020 onwards. No application is needed.
